Publishes the Fisher® “Control Valve Sourcebook" for Refining MARSHALLTOWN,
IOWA (October 19, 2004) – Emerson’s
just-published, Fisher® "Control Valve Sourcebook" presents
selection and application guidelines for control valves covering 14 key
processes typically found within today’s refineries.
Each chapter begins with a brief process description, followed by a
simplified line drawing of the process with key control valve locations
identified. Then, for each
control valve there’s a quick description of the valve’s function,
followed by specs for one or more Fisher valves that can meet the
requirements. Also, the text
identifies the impact that each valve can have on the process, plus it
gives any special considerations to be made in selecting a valve. Chapter
topics include: Unit Process
Furnace, Distillation Column, Gas
Plant, Crude Distillation, Vacuum Distillation, Delayed Coking Unit,
Hydrotreater, Hydrocracker, Catalytic Reformer Unit, Fluid Catalytic
Cracker, Alkylation Unit, Amine Unit, Sulfur Recovery Unit, and Blending. The
