MARSHALLTOWN, IOWA (March 22, 2002) – Fisher®, a division of Emerson
Process Management, unveiled the type L2 pneumatic liquid level controller
today. The L2 is a member of the FisherExpress™ family of oil and gas
patch control products.
"The L2 is a rugged, reliable device that’s designed for oil and gas
patch conditions," stated Brian Burlage, FisherExpress project manager.
"It utilizes low temperature materials and a NACE construction to
provide a long service life. And since these features come standard, users
don’t have to configure the L2 to meet the application."
The L2 offers two control modes, snap-acting or throttling control, and
provides all other features as standard. The L2 standard features include: a
2-inch NPT vessel connection; ASME Class 1500 pressure rating; interface
capability; low-bleed environmentally friendly relay; field-configurable
vertical or horizontal displacer; vent-away case and a low temperature
construction.
Rounding out the FisherExpress product offering are the new type D2 FloPro™
control valve, the field-proven type 4150K Wizard® II pressure controller,
the type 4660 high-low pressure pilot and the type 546 I/P transducer.
