Emerson Process Management Establishes New Business Unit to Meet Valve Needs of Next Generation Nuclear Facilities

MARSHALLTOWN, IA (September 2, 2008). Emerson Process Management announces formation of a new business unit that will focus on meeting the control valve needs of next generation nuclear facilities, along with the existing fleet.

Based in Marshalltown, IA, the nuclear group is directed by Bill Fitzgerald, who brings decades of experience in applying Emerson’s Fisher® valves and instruments within nuclear plants to his position of business unit director.

Commenting on the new business unit, Fitzgerald stated, “The nuclear market is truly changing to one that will feature new capacity based upon the next generation plant designs.
