FIELDVUE Digital Valve Controllers  - HART Communication Protocol -
DVC6000

The FIELDVUE® DVC6000 series digital valve controller is a communicating, microprocessor-based current-to-pneumatic instrument. The controllers can be used on single- or double-acting actuators. The digital valve controller receives feedback of the valve travel position plus supply and actuator pneumatic pressure. This allows the instrument to diagnose not only itself, but also the valve and actuator to which it is mounted. This provides you with very cost effective maintenance information, so that required maintenance can be performed on the instrument and valve when there really is a need.

DVC6000 Safety Instrumented System Protocol

The FIELDVUE® DVC6000 SIS digital valve controller is a communicating, microprocessor-based digital-to pneumatic valve-mounted instrument. The controller can be used on single- or double-acting actuators. Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) are specifically designed to reduce the likelihood, or the severity of the impact of an identified event, thus helping to protect personnel, equipment, and the environment. These systems involve final control elements, which are mostly in one position and are requested to move only when an emergency situations arises. Typical applications with Safety Instrumented Systems involve Emergency Shutdown Valves, Emergency Blow Down Valves, Emergency Venting Valves, Emergency Isolation Valves, Critical On-Off Valves, etc.

The FIELDVUE® DVC6000f series digital valve controller is a communicating, microprocessor-based digital-to-pneumatic valve-mounted instrument.  The controller can be used on single- or double-acting actuators and uses FOUNDATION fieldbus communications protocol for easy access to information critical to the process operation. The digital valve controller receives feedback of the valve travel position plus supply and actuator pneumatic pressure. This allows the instrument to diagnose not only itself, but also the valve and actuator to which it is mounted. This provides you with very cost effective maintenance information, so that required maintenance can be performed  on the instrument and valve when there really is a need.

The Type 3582i electro-pneumatic, single-acting positioner is used with diaphragm-actuated, sliding-stem control valve assemblies.
